Excellent Travel & Cycle Guage

I am giving this 5 stars for now, having only owned it a short time. It is small, compact, easy to use & works well on both my cars & bicycle presta valves. Accuracy is consistently within .5 psi of my more expensive & more precise Michelin 12279 gauge. Unlike some gauges, it doesn't have to be turned on first, but reads right away & is actually easier to get a reading with presta valves (without loosing too much air) than all of my cycle-specific gauges. Its shape & size also makes it very easy to get a reading on car tires,and a great on-the-road gauge.Update 7-2-12: Still working fine. Above review stands.

Don't buy it for presta valve

Bought this for my road bike which has presta valve on the tubes, but it did not work. The hole on this gauge for presta valve is too small for the threaded part of your presta valve to fit; so basically your valve tip cannot reach the inner part of the gauge which presses your valve tip to get some measurement. When I tried an adapter for your presta valve to measure the pressure with "Schrader valve (car)" side, it did not work either. Simply, the pin on the schrader side of the gauge is too short to reach the tip of the presta valve.Don't buy this for your presta valve; there's no way to read the pressure using this device. I'd return this product.

Presta fail!

First time used the rubber seal popped out of the head. Poor design as there is but a very small lip on the seal to hold it in place. Do not waste your money.
