looks better than it is

I bought this tool because it was listed as a tire plug kit for truck tires. The reamer worked ok but kept spining in the handle. I could not get the set screw to tighten down on the reamer, it had no flat spot to seat on. The needles are soft and bent the first plug i tried to push in. Yes i was pushing at the angle of penatration.I have been using plugs for many years and have used several plug kits and this one rates well above the parts store cheapies with all metal construction but it has flaws. some of the flaws I can fix like slipping reamer.Again, I ordered this kit because it was specifically for trucks, as long as the truck tires are for a light duty truck it works ok. I will keep it for passanger and light duty truck tires and end up ordering another kit that hopefully will have hardened needles.In the field to get a truck off the road and back to the yard I need a tool i can depend on, this tool i can't.
